Gillespie Leaving RPV?
According to a Politico article, RPV Chair Ed Gillespie may be taking the White House counselor's job in the near future.
It is my understanding that he would probably have to give up RPV Chairman if he took that.
Hopefully we will have more on this soon.

It has been a very long time since anyone took that job seriously. We need someone who will stay in the post for a decade, or so, in order to create some name recognition and familiarity with the citizens. I would especially like to see a man with an established business reputation who will steer the Commonwealth GOP back to a more Reagan-style Republicanism that will help the working class, rather than continuing to cater to the "Country Club Republicans." We need to actively recruit and train Asian and Latino citizens to become solid Republicans, if this Party is to have a future. The current xenophobes who control the Republican Party pay lip service to the "Big Tent" but they do nothing to actually reach out to our newest citizens. Take a look around your local committee meetings: there are mostly blue-haired old ladies and bald old White men. GOP in Virginia is starting to mean, "Group (of) Old People."
